Pressure Ratings
The pressure ratings for SMGI sampling cylinders are in accordance with the EC-type examination for the products.

Cleaning and Packaging
All SMGI sampling cylinders are cleaned and packaged in accordance with standard cleaning procedures. If special requirement for your project is required, additional treatment can be reflected as per agreement before ordering.

Numbering
Ordering numbers of SMGI TPED-Compliant sampling cylinders include a -PD designator.

The Transportable Pressure Equipment Directive (TPED) provides requirements relating to the design, manufacture, and testing of transportable pressure vessels and accessories, including sample cylinders and cylinder valves, used in gas service. The intent of the directive is to provide a uniform level of product safety throughout the countries of the European Union.

Sampling Options

 

PTFE Coating Internal surface of the cylinder can be coated with PTFE to provide a nonstick surface, which aids in cleaning.
Electropolishing Electropolishing provides a clean internal surface with a high degree of passivation.
Carrying Handle This carrying handle provides convenience to carry sample cylinders. The handle is made from 304 stainless steel.
